Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our client’s team based in Nelson.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build their skills within a busy workshop environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of labouring duties, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, with the opportunity to develop new skills including MIG welding training.
The role will involve:

Carrying out general labouring duties within a workshop environment

Heavy lifting and manual handling of materials
-
Loading, unloading, and moving stock safely around the workplace

Using a variety of power tools and workshop equipment

Assisting skilled operatives with fabrication and assembly tasks

Preparing materials and components for production

Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and organised

Receiving full training and development in MIG welding
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous labouring, manufacturing, workshop, or fabrication experience would be an advantage but is not essential
