MACHINE OPERATIVE (Late Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm)

We're recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a well-established, family-run engineering business in Evesham. Working a fixed late shift, Monday to Friday, you'll become part of a close-knit team where quality, craftsmanship and employee wellbeing are genuinely valued.
No jumping straight onto late shifts either - you'll complete your training on days, giving you the time and support to learn the machines, processes and products before moving onto your permanent shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Machine Operative, you will:

Set up and operate a variety of engineering machines within a busy manufacturing environment.

Read gauges and use a range of hand tools to produce high-quality components.

Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.

Follow production processes and maintain excellent attention to detail.

Work safely and help maintain high health and safety standards across the workshop.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the Machine Operative role, you'll need:

Previous manufacturing or engineering experience, ideally working with metal products.

Experience using a range of hand tools.

Good basic maths skills, including converting and working with measurements.

A good standard of written and spoken English.

Your own transport, due to the location.
