International Settlement Associate (m/f/d)

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (on-site)
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Manage and process international settlement and trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, documentary collections, forfaiting and related products, in accordance with international banking practices, regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards. Perform document reviews for guarantee transactions and execute related system operations.
- Receive and process business applications and perform relevant system entries and operational procedures in accordance with internal guidelines and operational manuals.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding transactions, including maturity dates, repayments and other pending operational matters, ensuring timely completion of processes.
- Review transaction execution status, organize and maintain business documentation, and ensure proper filing of records generated from operational activities and system processing.
- Perform regular reconciliation of transaction records and business activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support the continuous improvement of operational procedures, workflows and internal guidelines, and assist in updating relevant policies when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Economics, International Trade, Finance, Banking or a related field preferred. Candidates with strong academic backgrounds or professional certifications such as CDCS, CSDG, CFA or FRM are highly regarded.
- Solid knowledge of international trade, trade finance products and related banking practices.
- At least two years of professional experience in international settlement, trade finance operations or relationship management is preferred. Experience gained at an internationally recognized financial institution is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong team-oriented mindset and a professional attitude.
- Fluent proficiency in Chinese and English, with strong professional working proficiency in German.
