Factory Operative

Job Type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role
Our client, a well-established company based in Royston, is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Operative to join their production team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience who is looking for a long-term role. The position will initially be temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general production and factory duties.
Operate machinery and equipment safely following training.
Assemble, pack, and prepare products for dispatch.
Complete quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Support the wider production team to meet daily targets.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment is preferred.
Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the company.
Must be able to drive due to location
What's on Offer
£13.00 - £14.00 per hour.
Full-time hours 07.30-17.00
