We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cybersecurity Assistant to join a engineering business based in Bedford.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced IT and cybersecurity professionals to help protect the organisation's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
The role will provide hands-on experience across cybersecurity, IT support, data protection, and network security within a modern engineering environment. KEY DUTIES

Assist with monitoring systems and networks for potential security threats and unusual activity.

Support the management of security alerts and the escalation of incidents where required.

Help maintain cybersecurity software, including antivirus and endpoint protection tools.

Assist with user account administration and access control processes.

Support the implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
