Job Overview
A Part II Architectural Assistant is required to join an in-house design and architecture team working on heritage and luxury residential projects. Based in Richmond, this permanent role will support the delivery of a listed building project and other high-end homes. It is suited to a creative architectural professional with at least one year's UK heritage and/or high end residential project experience, strong technical knowledge and confidence coordinating consultants across relevant project stages.
Role & Responsibilities
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and the wider design and construction team to support project delivery. The role includes technical coordination, consultant liaison and project administration.
Produce coordinated architectural and technical packages
Support heritage and luxury residential projects
Liaise with internal teams and external consultants
Coordinate information across multidisciplinary project teams
Manage workloads accurately and independently
Skills & Experience Required
You must have at least one year's professional experience working on UK heritage projects. High-end residential experience and hand-sketching ability would be beneficial.
Strong design and presentation skills
Knowledge of UK building regulations
Residential technical detailing experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
You should communicate confidently in meetings, present design proposals clearly and manage multiple project activities effectively. A portfolio must accompany every application.
Salary & Benefits
The salary is £33,000-£40,000, dependent on experience. Benefits include 23 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, a pension scheme, life insurance and standard office hours of 9am to 5pm.
