We are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Person to join our team in Birmingham. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our stores function, supporting the flow of materials and products throughout the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and issuing stock while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and organisation are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring items and quantities are correct.

Operate Reach and Counterbalance FLT

Accurately book goods into stock and store materials in designated locations.

Pick and issue components, materials, and products as required.

Prepare orders and goods for dispatch.

Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory management system.

Carry out routine stock checks and assist with stock takes.

Investigate and report stock discrepancies where required.

Ensure materials and products are clearly identified and stored correctly.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stores environment.

Support production and operational teams by ensuring materials are available when required.

Follow all company quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in a stores, stock control, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Basic computer skills and confidence using stock management systems.

A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.

The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am till 16:30, Friday-7.30am-1pm (39hrs weekly)
