Winner Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a large, prestigious manufacturing company based in Tamworth.

Working Hours Rotating
AM Shift
Monday to Thursday: 05:50am – 2:00pm, Friday: 05:50am – 12:40pm
PM Shift
Monday to Thursday: 1:50pm – 10:15pm, Friday: 12:30pm – 6:20pm
Rotating weekly shifts
Key Responsibilities

Working on a fast-paced production line
-
Assembling and inspecting various components
-
Using hand tools and air-powered tools
-
Operating torque wrenches and measuring devices
-
Reading and following engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
-
Identifying scrap, defects, and non-conforming parts
-
Carrying out quality inspections and final visual inspections
-
Suggesting process improvements where appropriate
-
Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity
Experience & Skills Required
-
Minimum 2 years' recent experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
-
Experience working within a factory or production setting
-
Previous experience using power tools
-
Experience using measuring devices accurately

Ability to read and follow technical instructions and drawings
-
Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for quality

Knowledge of quality inspection and visual inspection processes
-
Good communication and written skills
-
Physically fit, as heavy lifting is involved
-
Comfortable standing for the majority of the working day
