SEND Learning Assistant – Role Information:

Conducting specifically tailored 1:1 & small group support for children with SEN

Creating warm and inspiring atmosphere for children throughout school day

Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students

Communicating with colleagues and reporting to school SENCO
-
Located in one Rochdale secondary school for full academic year
SEND Learning Assistant – Benefits:

Paid £90 – £95 per day during term time

Monday to Friday role from September 2026 to July 2027

FREE online CPD courses across array of subjects

Guaranteed TA qualification pending completion of 11 month course

Option to join school permanently pending course completion
SEND Learning Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience supporting children in any capacity
-
Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience graduates desirable
-
Naturally outgoing and engaging individual with interest in teaching
-
Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory
-
Open to full-time work beginning September 2026
