Learning Support Assistant's needed - September Start
SEN School & Alternative Provision in Portsmouth!
Academics are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistant's to join a Special School and Alternative Provision in Portsmouth which caters for young people across yr3 - KS4 with a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) developmental needs and/or medical needs
They are looking for strong yet empathetic Learning Support Assistant's who are available to start in September on full-time, on-going contracts. There is the opportunity there for a permanent contract if this is of interest to you. Due to the locations, this is suited to someone who lives in the Portsmouth area.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will be required to support pupils on a 1;1 and small group basis. Due to the nature of the environment this would be suited to someone with experience of working with children with challenging behaviours in an SEN/SEMH school, although not essential.
