Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a L&D (Learning & Development Administrator to Join the team within the Devon & Cornwall Police Force
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting learning and development within the public sector? Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated L&D Administrator to join their vibrant team in Exeter! This temporary part-time role working 24 hours per week and offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.33, with an end date of March, 2027.
Please note this role will be subject to Police Vetting, you must have been residing within the UK for a minimum of 3 years continually
What You'll Be Doing:
As an L&D Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing professional and confidential administrative support. Your responsibilities will include:
Process Administration: Take charge of administering defined processes, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
Record Management: Maintain and update paper and electronic record systems in line with organisational policies.
Database Management: Interrogate and update databases, presenting information in a clear and accessible format.
Diary Management: Support the Superintendent/Head of Department with efficient diary management and other administrative tasks.
Meeting Coordination: Organise and provide administrative support for meetings and events, including venue booking, note-taking, and action follow-ups.
Customer Service: Respond to inquiries with a customer-focused approach, utilising your knowledge to assist the public and stakeholders.
Document Creation: Create and format documents and basic spreadsheets to manage activities and correspondence.
General Office Duties: Handle various office tasks such as travel arrangements, invoicing, and equipment ordering.What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to gather information from multiple sources and present it effectively.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Experience working independently with limited supervision.
Proven customer care skills, meeting customer expectations consistently.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Special Conditions:
Successful completion of Police Staff Induction and mandatory Health & Safety training.
