Job Description: Nightshift Hygiene Operative
Location: Corby
Shift: Nightshift
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000
The Role
We’re looking for a Night Shift Hygiene Operative to play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards across our Corby-based clients production facility.
Working nights, you’ll ensure all equipment and production areas are cleaned thoroughly and ready for the next day’s production.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out cleaning of production areas, machinery, and equipment in line with hygiene schedules
Safely use approved cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems
Complete hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately
Ensure fillers, conveyors, belts, floors, and surrounding areas are cleaned to required standards
Identify and report hygiene risks, spills, or contamination issues
Support audit and inspection readiness
Follow all health, safety, and food safety procedures at all times
Ensure production lines are cleaned and ready for start-up the following day
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role (food manufacturing experience desirable)
Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (training provided)
Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to follow procedures and use PPE correctly
