Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 13:30Contract: Full Time | Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks (subject to attendance, performance and business requirements)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Water Blasting Operative to join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Worcester.

Working within the Water Blasting department, you will use high-pressure water blasting equipment to remove residual wax from moulds following the dewaxing process. Your work will play an important role in preparing moulds for the next stage of the investment casting process while ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment safely and efficiently
Remove residual wax from moulds following the dewaxing process
Handle moulds carefully to prevent damage during the cleaning process
Carry out visual inspections to ensure wax has been completely removed
Follow work instructions and company procedures
Report damaged or defective moulds to the relevant department
Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean, organised and safe
Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE
Work closely with other production departments to achieve production targetsWorking Environment

Essential
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Good practical skills and a hands-on approach to work
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
Good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and committed to producing high-quality work
Flexible approach to overtime when requiredDesirable
Previous experience operating high-pressure water blasting or industrial pressure washing equipment
Experience within aerospace, foundry or engineering manufacturing
Experience working with investment casting processesFull training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
