Key Responsibilities
As a General Building Operative, you'll play an important part in keeping the site safe, tidy and well maintained by:
Carrying out a variety of Building maintenance tasks across the site
Supporting skilled trades with repair and maintenance projects
Completing general decorating, minor repairs, furniture assembly and other practical maintenance duties
Reporting defects and ensuring equipment, fixtures and facilities remain in good working order
Assisting with site upkeep, including external areas when required
Providing support for contractors and helping maintain a safe working environment
Undertaking a range of Facilities Maintenance duties as required to support the wider team
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
Previous experience in general property repairs, Building maintenance, or similar hands-on work
Good practical DIY skills and the ability to complete a variety of maintenance tasks
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing your own workload
Strong time management and a reliable approach to work
