Academics is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Mid Sussex to recruit a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1. The Role
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across KS1.
Support children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs and SEMH.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support plans.
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Help create an engaging, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
Is patient, caring and enthusiastic.
Can build trusting relationships with young children.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
