Physically demanding role, specialist industrial recycling environment
Hot, dusty setting whilst wearing under t-shirt, under trousers, full overalls, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, hard hat and respirator mask for your 12-hour shifts
Successful applicants required to complete a blood test as part of the induction, followed by regular occupational health monitoring
Full site tour must be attended prior to starting to see the environment first-hand
Two x 1-hour breaks per shift – workers are required to shower and change PPE during each break. All PPE and laundry facilities are provided on site.
The Role
Working with in the company stores you will be responsible for supplying all the equipment and supplies the factory workers working in the factory environment above require. A bit like an Internal Trade Counter.
Booking in and out stock on the computer system.
Counting items in and out
You will not need to wear all the PPE for your working environment but you will need to wear a mask all day
Shift Pattern & Pay:
Current hours are 7.30am-4pm Monday to Friday
However, the company are looking to expand the Trade Counter hours from 8 hours a day to 12 hours a day by adding more staff and doing a 6am-2.30pm or 9am-6pm shift pattern
