Production Operative – Dronfield
£12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | Long-Term Opportunity
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Dronfield.
This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous production or manufacturing experience who are comfortable with heavy lifting, manual handling, and working in a dusty manufacturing environment. This is a long-term opportunity with progression available for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
Producing and packing home brewing kits, including wine, beer and cider kits
Measuring and mixing ingredients such as malt extracts, flavourings and yeast
Operating production machinery and equipment
Working on a fast-paced production line
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
Packing products ready for dispatch
Heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the shift
Loading and unloading materials when required
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, or similar (essential)
Comfortable with heavy lifting and repetitive manual handling
Able to work in a dusty manufacturing environment
Reliable, hard-working, and able to work well as part of a team
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow production processes
Hours & Pay
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
Friday: 07:00 – 15:30
