Spire Clare Park Hospital is looking for an experienced and motivated Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our established Theatre team on a permanent full-time basis. Located in Farnham and rated Good by the CQC, Spire Clare Park Hospital provides a comprehensive range of surgical and diagnostic services, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology and ENT, supported by advanced imaging and modern clinical facilities.
About the Role
As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will play an integral role in providing safe, effective, and high-quality perioperative care across a variety of specialities. You will support patients throughout their theatre journey while ensuring clinical excellence and exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support anaesthetic practice across a multi-specialty theatre environment.
Prepare theatre and anaesthetic rooms, ensuring all equipment, instrumentation and supplies are available and ready for use.
Assist with procedures carried out under general, regional and local anaesthetic.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Deliver high standards of patient care throughout the perioperative pathway.
Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the theatre department.Who We're Looking For
Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).
Previous experience within an Anaesthetic Practitioner role.
A dedicated team player who can also work independently when required.
Passionate about delivering excellent patient care and maintaining high clinical standards.
Keen to further develop skills across a range of surgical specialities including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, ENT, Plastics and Ophthalmics.Desirable:
ALS qualification.
Airway Management certification.
Recovery and/or Scrub experience.Working Hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm.
