Accounts Apprentice
Location: Leeds
Salary: Market aligned age related pay
Develop comprehensive knowledge across all areas of the accounts function through structured training and continuous professional development.
Your day to day will include:
Undertaking all training and development required to become qualified in the position.
Attend all AAT training courses as required to complete the apprenticeship qualification.
Ensuring all documentation is completed and accurately in all areas of the accounts function to allow for accurate processing of the wider account’s activity
Ensuring that all accounting and administrative tasks within area of responsibility are carried out in line with company procedures.
Ensure accurate and complete processing in all accounts matters.
Communicating effectively and professionally by telephone or email where required.
What we are looking for:
A genuine interest in building a career in finance and accounting.
A willingness to learn and commit to completing an AAT apprenticeship qualification.
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.
A commitment to following company policies, procedures, and processes.
The ability to ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard.
Professional and confident communication skills, both over the phone and via email.
A positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to take ownership of your own development.
