Warehouse Operative

Our client are global leaders in their field! They are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse and stores department.
Warehouse Operative Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily picking and kitting of all components from stock before moving orders to shop floor or despatch

Accurately completing data entry within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure orders are supported with completed paperwork and transactions (i.e. material movements, miscellaneous transactions, stock adjustments, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)

Taking receipt of internal orders into stock (i.e. machined parts from our machine stock, finished assemblies from production)

Maintaining correct inventory levels and updating stock variances

Conducting a daily stock take
-
Carrying out a weekly check of shelf-life items
-
Supporting stock disposal processes and customer stock takes, if required
-
Storing stock in a correct and safe manner, complying with health & safety requirements and proactively ensuring safety and wellbeing

Occasional local deliveries
-
Documenting all occurrences of defective or damaged goods or materials on the Discrepant Materials Report (DMR) and removing from stock

A commitment to completing training within the Stores development structure is essential
Warehouse Operative Ideal Candidate:
-
Experience in a similar role (Ideally 2 years)

Excellent customer service skills
-
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite of applications

Clean driving licence
-
Ability to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance
-
Subject to Alcohol and Drug pre-employment screening

Monday – Thursday: 07:30am – 17:00pm

Friday: 07:30am – 11:30am
