Labourer / Groundworks / Strimming Operative - CSCS, start 01/07/2026
£16.84 per hour | 40-50 hours per week
Locations: Birchington yard (and travel from there)
We are recruiting a Labourer for groundworks, vegetation clearance and strimming works for a leading construction and landscaping contractor specialising in ground and vegetation clearance.
Job Details:
Strimming, vegetation and ground clearance works
Assisting with fencing and general site labouring duties
Operating petrol strimmers (training provided if needed)
3 days to 2 weeks initial work starting Wednesday 01/07/2026, with strong potential for ongoing or temp-to-perm work for the right candidateHours & Travel:
6am / 7am starts from the client's yard in BirchingtonRequirements:
Valid CSCS card
Full orange PPE, including steel toe cap boots
Reliable, hardworking and able to work outdoors
This role may continue beyond the initial period if you perform well and are recommended by the site supervisor.
