Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pest Control Operative to join a Yorkshire-based Local Authority on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who can quickly integrate into a busy team and manage a varied daily workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend residential and commercial sites across the area
- Carry out pest control treatments including:
- Rodents
- Insects (ants, wasps, fleas, cockroaches, bed bugs)
- Complete job sheets and associated paperwork on-site
- Adhere to health & safety and organisational procedures
- Represent the authority in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in pest control (essential)
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong practical skills with attention to detail
- PCA Level 2 qualification (desirable, not essential)
- DBS check (desirable but not required)
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30
- Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
