£26,656 - £27,502 + 29 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Staff Benefits + Training & Development
Are you practical, hands-on and looking for a role where you can learn valuable maintenance and estates skills?
Do you want to join a supportive school where no two days are the same and you can build a long-term career within facilities and estates management?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and welcoming secondary school as a Site Assistant, offering full support, training and development within a professional estates team.
The school is known for its positive culture, supportive staff community and excellent facilities. Serving over 1,500 students, the site offers a varied and interesting working environment where you will play an important role in helping maintain the facilities that support both students and staff every day.
This is not a role where you'll spend every day doing the same thing.
One day you could be carrying out minor repairs, setting up facilities for events or helping maintain the school grounds. The next you could be supporting contractors, assisting with school lettings, moving equipment, helping with health and safety checks or learning new maintenance skills from experienced colleagues. The school actively supports staff development and offers opportunities to gain further training and specialist knowledge over time.
The ideal candidate could come from a maintenance, gardening, caretaking, labouring, warehouse, facilities or general trades background. Most importantly, you will be practical, reliable, willing to learn and enjoy being part of a team.
If you're looking for a long-term opportunity where you can develop new skills, work within a supportive environment and make a positive contribution to the next generation, this could be the perfect role for you.
