Transport Administrator Petersfield £35,000 - £42,000 Full-time | 7:00am - 5:00pm About the Role We are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to support the smooth running of daily transport operations. You'll work closely with internal teams and depot managers to ensure deliveries and collections are planned and executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Transport & Operations

Coordinate daily deliveries and collections across multiple depots
Plan and optimise routes using transport planning systems (e.g. Maxoptra)
Act as the main point of contact for drivers, resolving queries and issues
Monitor incoming orders and manage transport requirements accordingly
Ensure all orders are allocated to the correct depot
Manage failed or incorrect orders and communicate updates to relevant teams
Liaise with depot managers to resolve operational issues and meet customer needs
Provide accurate delivery ETAs and update customers when required Administration
Maintain accurate records and reporting sheets
Manage agency timesheets and raise purchase orders
Handle incoming calls and direct as appropriate Reporting
Track and report delivery performance
Log and report incidents or accidents
Monitor returns and outstanding collections

Follow company health & safety procedures at all times
Ensure compliance with operational and environmental standards

Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Team player with a proactive approach

Experience & Skills
Previous transport or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
Good geographical knowledge (desirable)
Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience with transport/planning systems is advantageous
