We are recruiting for an experienced FLT / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a hands-on role where you'll split your time between operating a forklift truck and supporting the warehouse operation, ensuring materials and products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.
Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
Flexibility is essential, as there will be occasions where 12-hour shifts, weekends and night shifts are required to meet business demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading deliveries.
Moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
Booking stock in and out using warehouse procedures.
Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.
Supporting production by supplying materials as required.
Maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Following all health & safety procedures.
Skills:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Previous warehouse and FLT experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional 12-hour shifts, weekends and nights.
Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
