We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional HGV drivers seeking stable, long-term work with immediate starts available.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Drive and operate a Class 2 (Category C) refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
Carry out daily waste and recycling collection routes across residential and commercial areas.
Work alongside refuse loaders and collection crews.
Conduct vehicle safety inspections before and after each shift.
Ensure all collections are completed according to scheduled routes and service standards.
Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company health & safety procedures.
Report vehicle defects, incidents, or service issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork.
Assist with operational duties when required.Requirements
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
Experience within waste management or refuse collection is advantageous but not essential.
Good knowledge of UK driving regulations.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.Working Hours
Early morning starts.
Monday to Friday.
