Warehouse Operative / Parts Assistant (FLT Counterbalance)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour + Holiday Pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:30pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Parts Assistant to join a busy parts department on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence looking for long-term employment with a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing parts and components accurately
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining stock accuracy and warehouse organisation
- Assisting with general warehouse and parts department duties
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse and/or parts department experience
- Experience loading and unloading vehicles
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
