Paying up to £28k + Benefits – A successful manufacturing business based in Skelmersdale is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their expanding finance team.
This is a permanent office-based Finance Assistant vacancy working 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
THE JOB
Key responsibilities:
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Overseeing the invoice approvals portal and answering queries where necessary
Processing of cash/banking transactions in Sage 200
Matching and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
Supporting the finance team with other accounting duties as and when required
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate:
Will be studying towards the AAT qualification
Able to organise own workload with limited supervision
Able to manage own time and balance multiple duties independently
Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Have excellent Microsoft Office software knowledge
Able to offer flexibility whilst working to meet deadlines
Able to learn new systems quickly with on-the-job training
