We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established luxury retirement home located in a peaceful rural setting near Saxmundham. Set within six acres of beautiful woodland, this unique historic residence offers high-quality residential care within a warm, welcoming, and person-centred environment.
Accommodating approximately 20 residents, the home provides an intimate and supportive setting where staff have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and deliver truly personalised care. Residents benefit from a range of services including long-term residential care, short-term stays, respite care, and holiday breaks, all delivered by a dedicated team committed to promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting dignity, comfort, independence, and choice.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
• Assisting residents with mobility and maintaining independence where possible
• Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
• Encouraging social interaction, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Observing and reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional wellbeing
• Supporting residents with local outings and appointments
• Driving residents when required as part of community engagement activities
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver high standards of person-centred care
About You
• Previous care experience is preferred but not essential
• A compassionate, caring, and patient nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care
