Mixing Operative - Food Production
Location: Bolton Shifts Available (Fixed): - 06:00 - 14:00 - 14:00 - 22:00 - 22:00 - 06:00
Pay Rate: - £13.24 per hour for the first 2 weeks - £13.74 per hour after full training
About the Role
We are recruiting reliable and hardworking Mixing Operatives to join a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for preparing, weighing, and mixing ingredients to exact specifications, ensuring products meet strict quality and hygiene standards.
This is a key role within production, supporting the smooth and efficient running of the mixing department.
Key Responsibilities

Weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients according to batch sheets and recipes

Operate industrial mixing equipment safely and efficiently

Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and consistency throughout the process

Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

Maintain high levels of hygiene and follow all food safety procedures

Clean and sanitise equipment to prevent cross‑contamination

Record batch information accurately and report any issues promptly

Work closely with production, quality, and hygiene teams to maintain workflow
About You

Experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment (preferred)

Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and safety procedures

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and able to work fixed shifts

Good communication and teamwork skills
