Laser & Press Brake Operative - Barnsley (Permanent Role)
We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Laser & Press Brake Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley on a permanent basis.

The role:
Programming and running laser cutting and press brake machines
Loading and unloading materials (including use of cranes/FLT where required)
Carrying out routine machine maintenance and reporting faults
Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts
Recording output, wastage and quality checks
Ensuring all work meets company quality standardsWhat we're looking for:
Experience operating laser and/or press brake machinery
Ability to read engineering drawings
Good attention to detail and quality
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
Team player with a positive attitudePay & Hours:
£13.80 per hour (training/start rate)
+30% shift allowance on afters
+40% shift allowance on nights
Rotating shiftsPermanent role - direct with the company from day one.
