An insurance firm in the West Midlands is looking for a motivated individual to join their team.
The Junior Insurance Systems & IT Support Assistant will provide first-line technical support across business systems while supporting data security, compliance, and core insurance operations.
This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to begin a long-term career in IT within the financial services or insurance sector.
KEY DUTIES

Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and internal insurance systems (e.g. policy administration systems, CRM platforms), diagnosing and resolving common user issues

Assist staff with access to systems, including password resets, user account setup, and permissions management in line with data protection policies

Support the monitoring of cyber security and data protection practices, identifying potential risks and escalating concerns in line with FCA and GDPR requirements

Assist with maintaining secure handling of sensitive client data, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

Support routine system checks and basic troubleshooting of network and office-based technology

Help maintain accurate records of IT support queries, system updates, and issue resolutions

Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up IT equipment and system access
