Technical Sales Assistant
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

An opportunity has opened for a Technical Sales Assistant to join an engineering company based in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have a background within customer service and sales. You will also have a background within an Engineering company, preferably lifting equipment, cranes or similar.
The role doesn’t require any sales calls to be made or business development as they have already built a reliable customer base but you will be handling any incoming enquiries and advising clients on services provided.
Technical Sales Assistant Key Skills:

Experience within Engineering or Manufacturing – ideally lifting equipment

Technical engineering knowledge
-
Inbound sales background
-
Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships

Negotiation skills and upselling experience

Confident in providing advice to clients and explaining services
-
LOLER or PUWER knowledge would be beneficial
Technical Sales Assistant Responsibilities:

Taking inbound calls from clients and providing advice

Maintaining client relationships
-
Presenting to clients with technical details of services that the business provides

Negotiating prices inline with company price points

Providing technical insight on crane systems and other lifting equipment

Ensure industry standards are met
