Graphic Design Teaching Assistant - The Role
This college is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Design Teaching Assistant to support post-16 learners studying creative and vocational courses. The successful Graphic Design Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to support learners in developing their design, digital media, and creative skills.
You will assist learners during practical sessions, support the use of industry-standard software, and help students complete projects in areas such as graphic design, digital illustration, branding, photography, and multimedia. The role will also involve providing classroom support, encouraging engagement, and helping learners build confidence and independence.
The ideal Graphic Design Teaching Assistant will have a background in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Art and Design, or a related creative field. Previous experience working with young people or individuals with additional needs would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
Graphic Design Teaching Assistant - The College
This is a specialist post-16 college supporting approximately 60–100 learners aged 16–25 with autism, moderate learning difficulties, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and additional learning needs.
