We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our client who are a leading waste management company.
Start times are flexible between 6:00am and 8:00am, depending on preference, but a consistent daily start time will be agreed.
Key responsibility
- Responsible for sorting and separating paper materials prior to shredding and baling.
Day-to-day duties

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across yard and machinery areas.

Sweep external yard spaces after lorry loading has been completed.

Empty food waste bins into the compactor unit.

Wash food bins and fit new plastic liners as required.

Carry out basic repairs on damaged food bins when necessary.

Clean and maintain glass recycling bins.

Support drivers with loading and unloading tasks when required
