We are recruiting for a Care Assistant to join a residential care setting providing residential, dementia, respite, and palliative care support to residents in a safe, compassionate, and person-centred environment.
This role involves delivering high-quality care to individuals with varying support needs, promoting dignity, comfort, wellbeing, and independence.
Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care support including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.

Support residents with day-to-day living activities while promoting dignity and independence.

Deliver companionship and emotional support to residents.

Support individuals living with dementia and complex care needs using a person-centred approach.

Assist with meal support, daily routines, and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

Provide sensitive and compassionate end-of-life and palliative care support where required.

Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans, safeguarding procedures, and company policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high standards of care.
Requirements

Previous care experience is essential.

Experience within residential, dementia, elderly, or palliative care settings is preferred.

A caring, compassionate, and reliable approach.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of safeguarding, dignity in care, and person-centred support.

Drivers preferred due to location and shift requirements.
