Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of lighting products. You will help maintain stock accuracy, pick and pack orders, and assist with inventory control, contributing to a smooth and safe warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, check, and store incoming lighting products and materials

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to customer and project requirements

Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently

Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies
-
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, forklifts (if certified), and scanners

Assist with product labelling and quality checks

Assisting the production team when warehouse duties completed.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred

Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment as required (reasonable adjustments available)

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong teamwork and communication skills
Salary & Terms:

£12.71 per hour
