Job Title: Milk Processor / Dairy Production Operative
Shift: 5:00am – approx. 3:00pm (6 days per week, Sunday off)
Location: Blackburn (BB1 area)
Pay: £15 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Milk Processor to join our dairy production team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food production environment, ensuring milk processing is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring milk processing equipment

Working with a plate heat exchanger for pasteurisation and cooling processes

Carrying out CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures correctly and safely

Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are met at all times

Monitoring production flow and reporting any issues

Maintaining cleanliness of all processing areas
Requirements

Experience in food production or dairy processing preferred

Knowledge of plate heat exchangers and CIP systems is essential

Food hygiene / food safety qualification (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Ability to work early shifts and long production hours
