Administrator – Export Control Team
Gloucestershire | Immediate Start | 1–2 Month Contract | £28,000–£32,000 Pro Rata
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded international engineering business on a short-term contract within their Export Control Team. This role is perfect for a graduate looking to gain valuable corporate exposure and hands-on business experience, or an experienced administrator available at short notice who is keen to join a professional and supportive organisation.
Working within a globally recognised business, you will gain insight into how export control supports the safe, responsible operation of an international company. Full training and guidance will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a structured and highly respected environment.
The Role
You will support the administration and communication of export control processes, ensuring requests are handled efficiently, accurately and in line with established procedures. No specialist knowledge is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the team with the administration of export control requests, following defined processes accurately and consistently
• Prepare and present information to support informed decision making
• Coordinate and communicate outcomes within the team and, where appropriate, across the wider business
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring data quality and traceability
• Assist the team during busy periods to help manage workflow and maintain responsiveness
About You:
• Previous office-based administration experience is essential
• Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented approach
• Confidence presenting information clearly and accurately
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively and support team objectives
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Graduates looking to build commercial experience are encouraged to apply

Contract Details:
• 1–2 month contract with possible extension
• Immediate start – Monday 8th June
• 100% office based initially, with potential hybrid working if extended
• Based in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire
