We are currently working with a highly respected professional services firm to recruit an Administrator / Legal PA to join their busy Rural & Commercial Property team in Edinburgh on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a modern and forward-thinking business with a strong reputation and supportive team culture. You’ll work closely with Partners and Fee Earners, providing high-level administrative and PA support while becoming a key part of the wider support function.
The role would suit someone who is proactive, organised, and able to build strong working relationships across a busy team environment. Previous experience within a property-based team would be advantageous, however candidates from wider professional services backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide administrative and PA support across a range of operational and client-focused activities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing and formatting documents and correspondence using digital dictation
• Supporting the completion of property-related documentation
• Managing and saving documents within document management systems
• Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
• Supporting meetings, travel bookings, and wider team administration
• Assisting with onboarding new clients and opening new matters
• Supporting billing, expenses, and invoice processing
• Liaising with internal teams to support workflow coordination
• Assisting with ad hoc administration and project support across the wider team
Essential Skills & Experience
• Previous administration or PA experience within a busy office environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
