Kenny Recruit is working with a fast-growing UK distribution business operating within convenience and vape sectors to find an ambitious Customer Growth Executive.
Our client partners with independent retailers and convenience stores, supplying a broad and evolving portfolio of high-demand consumer products. Known for strong retail relationships, category expertise, and rapid growth, the business offers an agile, performance-driven sales environment.
This is a fast-paced, office-based sales support role where you’ll work closely with Territory Account Managers to help grow and protect customer relationships across the UK.
You’ll become part of a dedicated regional sales team, supporting field-based colleagues by reactivating dormant customers, converting registered non-buyers into active accounts and ensuring retailers continue to receive excellent service and support.
You won’t be working alone. You’ll be part of a driven, energetic office-based team in Blackburn, all working together to create opportunities, drive activity and support growth across the business.
Working hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm
Location: Blackburn, 4/5 days in the office
Salary: up to £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + commission and benefits
Key Responsibilities

Making outbound sales and reactivation calls to convenience and vape retailers

Reactivating dormant customer accounts and rebuilding engagement

Converting registered non-buyers into active purchasing customers

Supporting Territory Account Managers with account management activity

Covering customer call files during territory transitions or vacancies

Building strong relationships with independent retailers over the phone

Managing and updating customer data files and CRM systems

Working closely with assigned TAMs to ensure aligned communication and customer support

Identifying sales opportunities and passing qualified leads into the field sales team

Delivering high levels of outbound activity — typically 50+ calls per day

Supporting promotional campaigns, product launches and sales initiatives

Helping drive customer retention, sales growth and account development
What we're looking for

Experience in outbound telesales, call centres or phone-based sales roles

Confidence making high volumes of outbound calls daily

Experience working to sales targets and KPIs

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Confidence working with customer data, spreadsheets and CRM systems

A proactive and resilient mindset

The ability to work at pace whilst maintaining quality and professionalism

A team-focused attitude with strong collaboration skills

A desire to learn, improve and contribute to team success

Experience within convenience, wholesale, FMCG or vape sectors would be beneficial, but attitude and drive are just as important.
