We are recruiting 2 Chemical Process Operatives with FLT Counterbalance licences on behalf of a highly reputable chemical manufacturer based in Wythenshawe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a chemical company with over 100 years of industry expertise
PLEASE NOTE: This role is within a chemical manufacturing environment. We are specifically seeking candidates with relevant manufacturing/chemical experience, not solely FLT drivers.
Key Responsibilities of the chemical operative:
Operating within a chemical manufacturing environment, adhering to strict safety procedures
Manual handling and heavy lifting duties
Safely moving raw materials and finished goods using an FLT Counterbalance
Loading and unloading vehicles
Supporting production both on and off the truck
Carrying out general housekeeping and maintaining high safety standards
Not only do we need you to have an FLT Licence, you must have:
Experience in a chemical or process environment
Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
Previous manufacturing experience
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Able to get to Wythenshawe with ease daily
What's on Offer
£12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.05 after 12 weeks
Overtime available at enhanced rates
Genuine Temporary-to-permanent role
Monday-Thursday: 07:00-15:30 & Friday: 07:00-13:00
