This is a newly created role within a small, supportive two-form entry primary school with a significant number of pupils with EHCPs and an on-site autism unit.
The school is looking for a confident and organised administrator who can act as a key point of contact between parents, teachers, and the SENDCo while ensuring all SEND documentation and processes remain compliant and up to date.
SEND Administrator - About the role
This is a fully on-site role working 3 days per week at Primary School in Hackney. You will provide dedicated administrative support to the SENDCo, helping to manage the administration of approximately 46 EHCPs across the school.
The role will involve regular communication with parents regarding SEND provision, education health care plans, and general concerns, so strong communication and customer service skills are essential. You will help implement effective structures and systems that allow the SENDCo to focus more on front-facing and classroom-based responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities of the SEND Administrator
Support the SENDCo with day-to-day SEND administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHCP and SEND documentation
Act as a point of contact for parents regarding SEND provision
Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals
Ensure compliance with SEND processes and paperwork requirements
Build and maintain effective administrative systems and structures
Provide professional and sensitive support to families
Support communication across the SEND department and wider schoolPlease apply if you have:
