We are working with a well-established national forklift dealership to recruit a Branch Administrator for their Hull depot. This is a key support role within the branch, providing essential administrative coordination across service, parts, and engineering operations.
This opportunity is specifically suited to candidates from an engineering background who are looking to move into an office-based coordination and administration role. A strong understanding of workshop or field engineering environments is essential, as this role requires clear communication with engineers and operational teams on a daily basis.
The Role
As Branch Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day branch administration. You will support engineers, service coordinators, and parts teams by maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, and ensuring all internal systems are kept up to date.
This is a varied role that requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to understand technical information from an engineering perspective.
Key Responsibilities
Providing full administrative support to the branch, service, and engineering teams
Processing job cards, service documentation, and workshop paperwork
Maintaining accurate records across internal systems and databases
Supporting parts and service departments with general administrative tasks
Coordinating communication between engineers, service desk, and internal departments
Handling incoming calls and enquiries in a professional manner
Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Supporting invoicing preparation and general branch reporting
Assisting with stock and parts administration where required
Maintaining high levels of organisation across all branch documentationAbout You
Must come from an engineering background (HGV, plant, forklift, automotive, or similar)
Strong understanding of workshop or field service environments
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with engineers and office staff
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Competent using computers and internal systems
Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Reliable, professional, and team-focused
Looking to transition into a structured office-based roleWhat’s on offer
