We’ve got an Accounts Assistant role in Halifax. It's a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Salary wise you'll be looking at £30,000 for the full-time position. There might be some room for a bit of flexibility, perhaps one day from home, or even part-time if that suits.
Day to day, you'll be handling the purchase ledger and sales ledger.
It's pretty admin-heavy, so you won't be on the phone much. Just need to crack on with it. You’ll sort out queries and manage the payment runs. If you've dabbled with Sage 200 before, great - if not, no worries.
You'll be trusted to get on with it. No hand-holding here. Just do what you do best and keep things ticking over.
The setup is mostly office-based, but there might be a day of hybrid work thrown in. We’re open to discussing what works best for you.
You'll need to know your way around ledgers and be comfortable dealing with queries. Attitude is key. We’re after someone who can just get on with it.
