Customer Service Operative – Property Maintenance
Torquay based | Covering Devon & Somerset
Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 + Company Van
39 hours per week
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Operative to join a well-established construction and housing business covering sites across Devon and Somerset.
This role involves carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs within occupied homes, so we are looking for someone with a strong trades background who also enjoys providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:

Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs in occupied homes

Completing tasks including painting, carpentry, drylining, window adjustments and finishing repairs

Updating works via tablet systems and liaising with office teams

Providing a professional and customer-focused service
Requirements:

Previous experience within a trade-based maintenance or customer care role

Trade qualification in carpentry, drylining or a similar discipline

Strong all-round maintenance skills

Comfortable working in occupied homes and dealing directly with customers

Basic IT confidence and ability to use tablets/software systems

Full UK driving licence
