Working within a highly supportive team environment, you will play a vital role in supporting Social Workers and Team Managers in delivering high-quality interventions and practical support to families across the city.
The Role As a Senior Social Work Assistant, you will:
Manage an allocated worker caseload under the guidance of Social Workers and Team Managers
Support the safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable children and young people
Undertake assessments, gather and analyse information, and maintain accurate case records
Provide practical day-to-day support to children and families
Work closely with partner agencies and professionals to achieve the best outcomes
Prepare accurate reports and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
Contribute positively within a collaborative and supportive team environment
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, policy, and best practiceAbout You We are looking for individuals who are:
