The Role
As a SharePoint Administrator within the JDR Programme, you will be responsible for developing and executing a medium to long-term strategy for the SharePoint platform to meet current and future programme needs. Your daily activities will include designing, installing, and maintaining SharePoint environments, managing content, performing upgrades, and providing technical support to end-users and project teams. You will also develop documentation, deliver training, and collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure the platform supports overall project success.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
A proven degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent practical experience in SharePoint administration.
Extensive knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including sites, libraries, workflows, and permissions management.
Expert experience with SharePoint Server & Online, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Strong familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, PowerShell scripting, and SharePoint security protocols.
Significant experience managing SharePoint content management systems, complex deployments, and hybrid environments.
