Hours of work: Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00 (30 minute lunch break)

About the Role: Customer Operations Specialist
We are recruiting on behalf of a well established organisation that places customers at the heart of everything it does. As a Customer Operations Specialist, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day to day running of contact centre operations.
This is a fast moving and varied position where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. It offers a great chance to build valuable skills, gain industry experience, and make a meaningful contribution within a customer focused environment.
Although the role is initially temporary, it can provide a strong pathway into longer term career opportunities within the wider business.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Operations Specialist
Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
Managing escalated queries with professionalism, empathy, and good judgement
Supporting vulnerable customers with patience and care
Working closely with colleagues to achieve first contact resolution whenever possible
Maintaining a customer focused approach while meeting operational objectives
Ensuring all customer interactions remain compliant with regulatory and internal standardsAbout You: Customer Operations Specialist
You will be well suited to this role if you:
Have experience within a fast paced, customer service environment (financial services experience is beneficial but not essential)
Remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
Are adaptable and willing to support different areas when required
Communicate confidently and effectively with both customers and colleagues
Enjoy working within a collaborative team environment
Are passionate about delivering positive customer outcomes and high quality serviceCompliance & Professional Standards: Customer Operations Specialist
The role requires adherence to all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, including:
FCA regulations
Data Protection requirements
Anti Money Laundering policies
Internal codes of conduct and operational procedures
