A caring and inclusive primary school in Rushden is looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately.
The role would suit individuals with previous experience in education, childcare, youth work, or support work, as well as those looking to build a long-term career within schools.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils within the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis
Assist the class teacher with daily learning activities and lesson preparation
Help pupils remain engaged, focused, and confident in their learning
Provide additional support for children with varying learning needs
Encourage positive behaviour and social development
Support children's emotional wellbeing and independence
Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure pupils make progress
About You
Experience working with children or young people is desirable
Patient, supportive, and approachable nature
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Reliable, adaptable, and proactive
Passionate about supporting children's development and education
Keen to learn and develop within a school setting
